In a rather interesting move, online gaming effectively became illegal recently do to a new piece of legislation. This move by the federal government raises a host of issues.

In what some consider a sneaky move, online gaming was effectively banned recently by a piece of law passed within another piece of law. This often happens in Congress to the frustration of many. In this case, Congress was set to pass the Safe Harbor Act, which was a piece of legislation concerning our ports from potential terrorist attacks. Online gaming, poker specifically, would seem to have little to do with terrorist and ports. Nonetheless, the “Unlawful Internet Gambling Act of 2006” was attached to it. When the Safe Harbor Bill received a favorable vote, the attached gambling act also became law. There was no separate vote.

The recognition of coins will be based on new algorithms of pattern recognition and image processing, in a field (classification and identification of ancient coins) as yet unexplored. The project will disseminate its results also by means of a demonstrator freely accessible on the Internet. Substantial contribution to the project will come from stakeholders, some of which are present in the partnership, which includes the Italian law enforcement organisation Carabinieri and three major national museums with important coin collections.

In this great country, the land of the free, where people died to give us the freedom not to have to pay a tea tax to England, there is a great injustice going on, that would make our fore fathers roll over in their graves! (Well, they’d be spinning if they knew everything!)

I am writing today to protest a couple of things that I think should be illegal, that we in America, are allowing to remain legal. You may have already guessed one of the things: Non Sufficient Funds charges. I am referring specifically to the charges charged even though the bank has not paid anything. Well the other one is unique to only 2 or 3 banks, I believe, but it is worse! Namely: The deduction of debits at the end of the day, before the addition of credits!

One of the most talked about and controversial issues that we face today are immigration.
Immigration in general is something I am very passionate about, for many reasons.
First off, my family has been through the immigration process and knows first hand the process,
Time, money, heartache, stress and financial burdens that can take its toll on you and your family.

Many people do not understand immigration, they only know what they hear on the radio or read in the
Sunday paper. But in all reality it goes way deeper then that. Its not as simple as most people think. Especially when it comes to more complex issues such as illegal immigration which is a whole other article in itself.
