How To Effectively Blow The Whistle Against Company Fraud

The US Government loses billions of tax money annually due to some companies incorrectly declaring their tax returns. In an effort to save money companies may resort to fraudulent transactions such as falsifying reports about the quality of their goods and services, stealing corporate resources and other schemes that constitute accounting fraud. To address this issue, the US General Accounting Office started the whistle-blowing initiative in 1979 as a mechanism to combat fraud and abuse in the private and federal sector.

The Race Of The Races

The rule is quite simple, equal employment opportunity is available to any person without regard to his racial orientation, or his genetic characteristic that may be associated with his race. Even marriage to or association with someone of a marginalized ethnicity cannot be a basis for unjustly discriminating an employee.

The prohibition from discriminating against an employee because of race or perceived color covers not merely the hiring of employees but extends to promotion, compensation, job training, termination, or terms, privileges, and conditions of employment. Employment decisions on the basis of assumptions on abilities, and the performance of an individual based on the fact that the employee belongs to a particular ethnic or racial group is also abhorred.

The Rights Of The Workers Against Employment Discrimination

To deter the employers from exercising discriminative acts to their employees, many labor decrees have been ratified by the Federal and State governments in the 1960’s. Such law provisions tackle most of the aspects which have great deal in the upholding of the workers’ rights besides their personalities and work nature.

These were subsequently followed by the promulgation of the employment discrimination law which aims to impede the employers to continue their illegal acts or else face the consequences of being penalized.
